Walmart’s Data Science bootcamp builds upon what you learned at the previous session and will allow you to get to know other participants and work on your team group capstone project. Do I have to attend all parts of the program? In the classes, you’ll be able to work directly with instructors and peers. All you need is a computer and the internet to access them. Where are the classes held?Ĭlasses are fully virtual, held in our “Live Online” classroom. They’re great at making concepts easy to understand and practical, so that you can use them in the real world. The course is taught by Correlation One training instructors.

They will also let you know how to make sure you’re ready for the program on day one! COURSE CONTENT How will I learn whether I got into the program?Ī member of our team will reach out 1-2 weeks before the program start date, to let you know whether you’ve been accepted into the program. The point isn’t to get everything right, but to help us better understand where you are in your data journey.You will receive the assessment link after you complete the online application. Some of the questions may be difficult, which is normal. The Assessment will test your knowledge of a few areas related to data science.
Our process is not meant to be intimidating but a chance to get to know you better along the way! Our staff is here to guide you through the process each step of the way. The application process is an easy 3 Step process consisting of an online application followed by a skills assessment, and a final interview. Fellows will complete technical cases that challenge them to apply their skills to real-world business use cases, to help them become effective practitioners within Walmart’s Global Tech team. There will be an entry assessment focusing on the above data science skills. Optimal candidates should have effective communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, and possess core data science skills in areas such as machine learning, statistics, Python, and experimental design.
